Tuition and fees for Legacy Christian Learning Center are less than full-time private schools because our costs for a reduced schedule program are significantly lower than a full-time five-day program.

TUITION
$2,250.00 Annual Tuition ($250 per month) grants students access to instruction, tutoring, and support from well-trained educators and a community of like-minded learners.

FEES
Family Registration Fee: $100.00, payable with Enrollment Application. One fee per family; applied to tuition; refunded if not accepted.

SIBLING DISCOUNT

The first student enrolled pays the full tuition, curriculum, and fee prices, but the second and subsequent students receive a 10% discount on each.

FAMILY VOLUNTEER DISCOUNT

Families who can commit to serving in the classroom on a regular basis may qualify for a discount. Discount depends on the consistency and frequency of attendance.

PAYMENT SCHEDULES
Tuition is payable by one of three options:

As a $2250.00 lump sum payment in September.
Beginning of each Semester, in September and January. Divide the total tuition in half.
Monthly, due on the first day of each month. Divide total tuition by 9 (Sept.-May).
For mid-year enrollments: Tuition is prorated.

ADDITIONAL COSTS

Curricula: Legacy will purchase student portions of the required curricula for each level. The cost for Legacy Christian Learning Center curricula will range from $200-$300 for each student.

SUPPLIES / PROJECTS

Throughout the year, additional supplies or projects may be required for education purposes.

FIELD TRIPS

Field trips are a regular weekly part of the curriculum. There is a one-time $25.00 administrative fee for planning & organizing. Each field trip is voluntary; transportation must be provided to and from locations. Although many will not, some trips require a fee for admission or other necessities.

GYM & S.T.E.A.M.

On Thursdays, students alternate between Physical Education (Gym) or S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, & Mathematics) Classes. A $90 fee helps to cover staffing, planning, & materials for these classes.

ACADEMIC ASSESSMENT REPORT

In Ohio, parents were required to submit an academic assessment report for each student each school year when they renewed their home education paperwork. Beginning in October 2023, an academic assessment is no longer required with the Notice of Intent to Home Educate. However, Legacy offers the Iowa Assessment in May as an option for students participating in their hybrid homeschool program. The cost to parents is between $35 to $55 per student.

Admissions Policy

Legacy Christian Learning Center admits students of any race, color, gender, or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities. Legacy Christian Learning Center will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, or ethnic origin in the hiring of its certified and non-certified personnel and in the admission of its students.

Legacy Christian Learning Center admits students from families that desire to provide a high quality christian education for their children. Families must follow the admission procedure. There will be a family interview and an examination of the student’s records and/or testing results or the school will provide testing for the student to make sure the child will be able to benefit from his/her educational experience at Legacy.
Legacy Christian Learning Center has the right to turn down the admission of a child to the school for any reason it deems necessary. Since Legacy exists to fulfill a Christian philosophy of education, any student or family that hinders the effectiveness of the school’s ability to deliver its intended program and education will not be tolerated. Therefore, we reserve the right to deny admittance or remove any student or family that upon judgment of the school administration is counterproductive to the school’s purpose, philosophy, and objective.
